Lauren McLane

I'm a junior at Stanford University studying electrical engineering. I'm interested in the intersection of AI and hardware, and understanding how we make accelerated computing more portable, scalable, and efficient. I'm also interested in reinforcement learning and self-improving systems that learn to do things as well or better than humans.

I'm currently working on building self-improving agents for hardware accelerator design in Tambe Lab. Before that, I worked on AI agents for cybersecurity and in Stanford AI Lab and data-driven dynamical system identification research in the Stanord Brains in Silicon Lab. Check out some of my work!
